The Falcon & Grainary Team are on a mission to raise money in aid of Young Lives Vs Cancer. The charity is providing vital support to Isla Byrne aged 9, a very precious and courageous member of the Jackson family, and her parents, throughout Isla’s lengthy and gruelling treatment for a rare bone cancer.
The main challenge involves climbing and descending the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey 14 times (the number of chemo cycles Isla has to have) and then walking the 14 miles through the North York Moors National Park, from Whitby to The Grainary, in Harwood Dale.
